WORKSHOP “GEOMETRIE DI LUCE”
The “Geometries of light” workshop with the students of the Boccioni Art School in Milan ends today. Starting from the peculiar experiences of Isamu Noguchi, Issey Miyake and Riccardo Blumer on the relationship between light and geometry, we have produced nine different luminous sculptures that can be visited for a few days in the garden of Palazzo Pollini.
With a common abacus of materials, cellophane and MDF wood, the students experimented with the different expressive possibilities of light, diffused in an open space. The final result is an unprecedented nocturnal landscape: nine mysterious objects of light burst into the neoclassical garden, reinterpreting its shapes and balances.
To the friends of Liceo Boccioni our gratitude and a cordial “Goodbye”.
